Private ADHD Assessments for Adults

We provide private ADHD assessments for adults, delivered by a Chartered Practitioner Psychologist with over 16 years’ experience across NHS and independent clinical practice. Our approach is designed for adults who want a clear, thoughtful understanding of how ADHD traits may be affecting their work, relationships and emotional wellbeing, using recognised diagnostic frameworks as the foundation for assessment.

Each adult ADHD assessment is tailored to the individual, taking into account personal history, current responsibilities, and how attention and impulsivity manifest in adult life. As an independent ADHD assessment provider, we focus on careful evaluation rather than speed, helping adults gain clarity, confidence, and practical insight into their experiences and future options.

Trusted Standards

Our adult ADHD assessments are delivered in line with the standards of recognised professional and regulatory organisations. This supports ethical practice, clinical credibility, and the responsible handling of personal and health information throughout the assessment.

Adult ADHD assessments focus on understanding lifelong patterns of attention, organisation, impulsivity, and emotional regulation. Particular care is taken to explore how ADHD may present differently in adulthood, including masking strategies, workplace challenges, relationship dynamics, and the impact on mental wellbeing.

Each assessment follows established clinical frameworks and incorporates recognised assessment tools. Reports are written to a formal clinical standard and provide clear diagnostic conclusions alongside practical, realistic recommendations to support work, daily functioning, and longer-term wellbeing.

Adult ADHD Assessment Feedback

“I found the whole assessment process to be handled with great care and sensitivity. From the start, you created a safe and supportive space, which helped me feel at ease talking about quite personal and sometimes difficult experiences. The assessment itself felt thorough and well-structured, but also flexible enough that I didn’t feel rushed or boxed in. I really appreciated the way you explained things clearly as we went along, and how you showed genuine warmth and empathy. It also meant a lot that you included my sister in the process and valued her perspective. Overall, the service felt not only professional but very human.”

Aimée, Bournemouth.
