Each assessment is tailored to the individual and includes practical recommendations to support wellbeing, learning, daily functioning, and long-term quality of life.
At Assessing Neurodivergence UK, we provide private neurodivergent assessments for adults and children, led by a Chartered Practitioner Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with over 16 years’ professional experience across the NHS and independent practice. Our work focuses on developing a clear, balanced understanding of individual strengths, differences, and support needs.

Professional Care & Standards
Assessments at Assessing Neurodivergence UK are led by Dr Sara Dowsett, a Chartered Practitioner Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Dr Dowsett holds a Doctorate in Psychology (PsychD), alongside an MSc, BSc (Hons), and Advanced Diploma, and works in line with recognised professional and ethical standards. Her approach is evidence-based, person-centred, and focused on developing a clear understanding of each individual’s cognitive, emotional, and developmental profile.
All assessments are carried out using established clinical frameworks and written to a professional standard, with clear recommendations to support learning, wellbeing, and everyday functioning.
